Purpose

This Non-Refundable Balance Policy outlines the terms under which payments made to GMK Notary of Florida (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for public notary services are considered final once services have been rendered or obligations fulfilled. This policy is consistent with Florida law and industry standards governing the provision of professional notary services.

Completed and Fulfilled Transactions

Once a notarization, authentication, witnessing, or other notarial service has been completed, performed, or fulfilled as requested by the client (“you”), all associated payments and fees are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Standard notarization fees

• Mobile or travel fees

• Document preparation or administrative processing fees

• Online or remote notarization session fees

• Expedited or after-hours service charges

Each fee compensates for the time, expertise, and official commission required to complete your notarial request.

Payment Terms

All fees are due prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments may be made by cash, credit/debit card, certified check, or electronic transfer as approved by GMK Notary of Florida.

Upon payment and completion of the service, no portion of the fee will be refunded under any circumstances, including:

• Client cancellation after arrival or completion

• Failure to produce required identification or witnesses

• Unsigned or improperly prepared documents

• Change of mind after notarization is performed

Exceptions

Refunds may only be issued at the sole discretion of GMK Notary of Florida if:

• A payment was processed in error (duplicate transaction or overcharge); or

• The notarial act was not performed due to an error caused solely by the notary.

Any approved refund will be limited to the specific erroneous charge and must be requested within seven (7) business days of the transaction.

Travel and Remote Services

For mobile or remote online notarization (RON) appointments:

• All travel or setup fees are non-refundable once the notary departs for the appointment or logs into a scheduled remote session.

• If a client fails to appear, cancels late, or provides incomplete documentation, full payment remains due.

Acknowledgment

By engaging [Your Business Name] for notary services, you acknowledge and agree to this Non-Refundable Balance Policy. You further understand that payments made for completed or fulfilled notarial acts are final and not subject to chargeback, reversal, or dispute once the service is rendered.
